O-M-D Spring end grinders
O-M-D's range of spring-end grinders employ the proven principal of pendulum-type grinding to avoid the problems encountered by other designs of grinding grit damaging the linear slides. A set of springs are clamped in V-blocks mounted on the base of a pendulum, which is then oscillated in front of a grinding wheel which also feeds in on a compound pendulum.
The machines are fitted with an integrated control system to ensure ease of operation. The typical specifications of a popular model, the H-80, are summarized in the table below.
