Highspeed Thread Rolling Machines
MTP's Automated highspeed thread rolling machines utilizes flat rolling dies and are capable of processing up to 1000 tons of unpeeled roof bolts per month. (Based on 20mm bar, 1800mm long, a single shift of 8 hours. 22 workdays per month and 75% operator and loader efficiency). The integrated loader allows for continuous production with a single operator.

Nut Applicator and Nibbing Machines
Automated nut applicator and nibbing machines consist of a sorting and loading table which insures the correct positioning of the bars, a vibrating nut sorter to supply the nut applicator, which in turn spins the nuts onto the thread, a nibbing press with a backstop to accurately position and nib the threads and a spinning head to spin the nut back onto the nib.

Multi-spindle Drilling Machine
MTP's automated multi-spindle drilling machines are of a gantry design and have three drilling heads. Each head is equipped with 7 spindles to drill shear pin holes in 21 roof bolts and nuts simultaneously. The spindles are set on a 50mm centre to centre pitching and each spindle has an ER20 style mounting with a maximum drilling capacity of 13mm. The dual sided manually operated shuttle table allows increased through put with one side being manually unloaded and loaded whilst the other side is running an automated drilling cycle. Each side is equipped with nut guides and drill bushes for accurate drilling. Each table has hardened steel strips with positioning notches to prevent wear.
